Big Sack offers a collection service throughout Switzerland. Thanks to our network of partners, we are able to collect your Big Sack efficiently and quickly.

Yes. You can have one or more Big Sacks collected at once. In general, we are able to collect up to 10 Big Sacks at a time. For larger quantities, the crane truck will simply collect in several trips and this will not impact our rates.

Once your collection request is received, the crane trucks collect your Big Sack within 1 to 3 working days. You can also set a specific collection date if needed.

In general, you will not need to request municipal authorization to use your Big Sack, especially if they are stored on private property. Authorization requests are in principle only required if you place your Big Sack on public roads (sidewalk, street, public parking space, etc.). Authorizations are particularly important if the Big Sack risks obstructing traffic. For these special cases, we recommend that you inquire with your municipality. Any costs related to authorization will be your responsibility.

No, you do not need to be present as long as the driver can easily access your Big Sack. The driver will indeed have to manually attach the straps of your Big Sack to the crane which requires direct access. Warning: make sure there are NO obstacles to the crane such as power lines or tree branches.

Yes. Once used, Big Sacks are weakened and should therefore not be reused, as they could break during the second collection. We reuse Big Sacks or recycle them with the rest of the waste removed.

All collected waste is sent to a recycling center approved by public authorities. Thanks to Big Sack, waste can easily be sorted at source, thus promoting recycling and recovery downstream.

Yes, you can fill your Big Sack to the top but avoid having waste sticking out too much from the bag. The driver must be easily able to attach the straps of your Big Sack to the crane to collect it.
